RV Purchase Checklist: Privacy Policy

Summary

We do not run accounts, servers, ads, analytics, or tracking in the App. What you enter stays on your iPhone unless you choose to share or export it. We do not collect, sell, or share your personal data.

1. What the App stores on your device

• RV checklists: RV name and type, mode (Used / New PDI), answers (Pass / Issue / Can't check / N/A and reasons), severities, notes, paperwork and fee figures, warranty terms you record, scores, and timestamps.
• Photos: photos you take with the camera or choose from your photo library. They are saved as JPEGs with location and other EXIF metadata removed, resized to at most 2048 px, and timestamped. As the App says: "Photos are timestamped and stay on this iPhone."
• Settings: a small amount of app preferences (iOS UserDefaults).

This data stays in the App's storage on your device. We cannot see it. Your device's own iCloud/iTunes device backups may include it under Apple's terms.

2. Permissions

• Camera: "Take photos of what you inspect. Photos stay on your iPhone."
• Photo library: "Add photos of what you inspect from your library. Photos stay on your iPhone." The App accesses only the photos you pick. You can change permissions in iOS Settings.

3. No purchases or payments

The App is free and has no in-app purchases. It does not process payments or receive any purchase, payment, or Apple ID information, and it stores no purchase or credit records, on your device or in iCloud.

4. Sharing and export (your choice only)

• PDF reports are created on your device. They may contain your notes, photos, findings, figures, and the RV name. They leave your device only when you share them via the iOS share sheet, to recipients and apps you choose; those recipients' policies then apply.
• Backups (.rvcheck): exporting creates a file with your checklist data and photos that you save or send where you choose. Importing merges a file you select.

5. What we do not do

No accounts or sign-in; no analytics or crash-reporting SDKs; no advertising or ad identifiers; no tracking across apps or websites; no location collection; no selling or sharing of personal data. The App's privacy manifest declares no tracking.

6. Retention and deletion

Data stays until you delete it. Deleting an RV in the App removes its data and photos from the App's storage; deleting the App removes all locally stored data. Files you exported or shared are under your control.

7. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect children's information.

8. Your rights

Because we do not hold your data, most requests (access, deletion) are handled directly on your device. Residents of California, the EU/UK, and other regions may have additional rights; contact support@sandhillapps.com.

9. Website

This policy covers the App. The website at https://rvchecklist.sandhillapps.com is plain static pages and uses no cookies, no analytics, and no third-party scripts.

10. Changes and contact
